As soon as we sat down, before we had time to take a breath, the waiter started grilling as quickly as if he had started a stopwatch. His hand speed was so fast that one might wonder if there was pressure from behind to turn tables! Finally, I had to ask the waiter to slow down! When I left, there was already a long queue at the door. Only then did I fully understand the waiter's sense of urgency. Turning every table faster would allow more people to realize the "freedom of grilling meat"! đ It tastes good, and I wonât come back for such a stressful meal!

We spent around $150, and neither my boyfriend nor I felt full afterward. The food came out quickly, but the pace felt rushed and uncomfortable. I understand the business wants to turn tables quickly, but as a customer, I found the portion sizes way too small for the price.
The quality of the KBBQ was just okayânothing memorable. Honestly, I donât understand all the glowing reviews. My boyfriend saw the high ratings, and thatâs why we came, but we both left feeling it was overpriced for very average food.
Iâm actually pretty upset to have spent this much on such a mediocre experience. Definitely would not come back. :(

I love Jongro! At this point I've been here many times. The Kbbq is đđ˝. I usually bring visiting friends and family here and everyone has a great experience. The atmosphere and service is great. I came here for lunch most recently and the cheesy corn on the side was amazing. Always recommend this place.

The food was so good! The waiters were nice enough and made good recommendations for my friend and I who came to dine. We got this soup dish that comes with many sides and rice included. It was enough food for 2 girls. Satisfied my craving for Korean food! Still thinking about the food & Will definitely be back!

I went to Jongro (not the first time) on 3/28 and arrived at 11:00pm on the dot. The restaurant is supposed to be open until 12. We came from NJ so we were very disappointed when we walked in and an employee said they were closed. We were loyal to jongro, but the blatant laziness despite their hours of operations really turned us off. We went to Miss Korea a few doors down and it was excellentâ we were out of there by 11:40. Either update your hours of operation or honor what you currently have. Disappointing..
Love this spot for a kbbq however the music is always SO loud!

Jongro used to be solid but on my most recent visit the quality has gone way down while the prices have gone way up. I was particularly disappointed with the beef tongue which was super tough and rubbery and when it looked like it came straight from the freezer. The bill came out to $300 for 2 people. I think there are better options around.

The meat was high quality and delicious, and the prices were reasonable. However, we ordered the beef combination platter and did not receive any marinated meats. Additionally, we never got our corn cheese, which we were the most excited for. When we asked the server where the corn cheese was, she said the kitchen mustâve run out of ingredients. This was hard to believe since it was only 6:30pm, but we didnât want to push the matter and so we decided to leave. As we were exiting, we saw every single table with a hot plate of corn cheese. Very disappointing. Additionally, even if they had run out, good service wouldâve made some sort of substitution, considering itâs part of the combo set we ordered and in a way we did pay for it.
