A true gem of Hell’s Kitchen! We loved the quiet, casual, warm vibe and the ability to have a good conversation.

My two kids loved the cheese fondue, and butternut squash spread and perfect pita. Every recommendation for food was delicious.

Really you need to come here.

And thanks Dave for the superb hospitality and memorable service and experience.

This tiny little HK gem is great for a date night. We had a lovely time. The food was seasoned very intentionally, and tasted amazing. The service was sweet, charming and quirky. And the ambience provided a quaint rustic European vibe, which let you feel fully immersed. Definitely make a reservation, because the seating is limited. Check out the Prix-Fixe for 2!!

Had a large 12 person birthday dinner here and no complaints. Food was amazing, loved the fondue and that the restaurant was able to serve fondue to such a large group. The vibes were so cute, someone said they felt it wasn’t in New York City! Reminded me of the fondue restaurants in the Swiss alps. The waiter was so kind and bubbly, and was very nice to add candles and cut and serve the birthday cake.

Since I discovered this gem in 2012, Kashkaval Garden has been one of my favorite restaurants in the city. For more than a decade, I've brought friends and family here, and it has never disappointed the many different palates and expectations. The food is delicious and fresh, the service excellent, the atmosphere warm and cozy, and the prices have remained affordable. Last night I had dinner here before seeing a show on Broadway; it was only a 15min walk to our theater. My friend and I enjoyed the perfectly proportioned pre fixe menu for two.

We visited Kashkaval Garden two weeks in a row, and both times were absolutely amazing.
Last week, we enjoyed a delicious truffle cheese fondue paired with a Lambrusco, and our server truly made the evening complete.

This week, we were back in New York and couldn’t resist returning to this restaurant. We ended up spending four hours at the table, enjoying cheese boards, pitas, everything was perfect. I was even surprised with a prosecco for my birthday, which made the night extra special.

Another top evening, with a special thanks to Hayden.
Can’t wait to come back soon!

Our area's food options expanded in the best possible way. I couldn't ask for anything more. Their service focus enhances the experience. The menu has stars but everything satisfies. This place satisfied me thoroughly.

Very affordable relative to other fondue places in NYC with a greater selection of options.

Such a lovely experience having dinner here. The back room was so cozy but overall the entire place is very nice and cozy. Food was delicious and the mocktails were tasty. They also have a prixe fix that looked great but didn’t have the stomach space for it. Service was awesome and everyone working there is extremely nice and on top of it. We will definitely be coming back!

⭐ 1/5 — Disappointing Experience Overall

Unfortunately, my visit to Kashkaval Garden was quite underwhelming. From the moment we arrived, the host didn’t seem welcoming, which set the tone for the evening.

The Fondue for One ($24) was disappointing — it came with just some bread pieces and a small pot of cheese (maybe 4 oz at best). Definitely not filling or worth the price.

The Mezze Platter could have been nice since the dips were flavorful, but the pita was dry and not warmed, which made the whole dish fall flat.

The biggest letdown was the Lamb Kebab — fatty, overcooked, and so dry it was barely edible.

With so many dining options in the neighborhood, this experience was a complete miss.

Suggestions for improvement:
• A warmer, more welcoming host would make a big difference.
• Serve the pita warm and soft to complement the dips.
• Rework the kebab recipe — better quality meat and proper cooking would go a long way.
• Rethink the “Fondue for One” — it leaves guests hungry; maybe offer sides or larger portions.

Overall, a thumbs down from me. I truly hope they make some changes, because the concept has potential, but the execution fell short.
