The scotch egg was pretty underwhelming. Inside it’s some kind of meat patty, fried, with boiled egg in it. It’s sizable and filling, but it’s bland without the sauce which was a spicy mayo. It looks creative, but tastes ordinary.
K’OOK is a super affordable korean restaurant in the St Marks neighborhood.I recommend getting their fried chicken + drink combo for $25. The chicken was extremely crispy, flavorful, and the meat was juicy.I was super excited about the scotch egg but it was pretty bland without the sauce.
Very cozy restaurant with delicious and fairly priced food. The crispy rice egg is amazing and a must get appetizer. I also got the dol sot w/chicken which came in a hot stone bowl. It was very filling and a perfect meal for a cold day. Excited to come back and try other dishes like the cold noodles.
