Yum! I've never been here until today, I saw their takeout menu. Got the mushroom with garlic fried rice and 2 sides, cucumber which was a perfect cool counter to the spicy rice and cabbage. Delicious. There's enoki mushroom and some others in the rice. Stay healthy guys...praying for everybody and hope we can get through this time with strong immune systems and all blessings.

Came here on a prior trip to the city, before the recent unpleasantness. The thick cut salmon is some of the very best I've had. It was so fatty and was beautifully presented. The steak was savory and delicious. The fried chicken was the standout of the evening, tender and moist on the inside, crispy outside. We were taken unawares by the eggplant and tofu dish: the peppers are hot. Steel yourself, before you try this one. The service was excellent.

Having been to REAL izakayas in Japan as well as certain other known izakayas in NYC, I'm not sure if this place can even qualify as an izakaya. It only mimics an izakaya in the size of dishes - portions are SMALL. Some dishes are meant to be "shared" but you will probably only get 1 or 2 bites out of them depending on your party size. We got the More Addictive Cabbage, Mom's Corn Croquette, Ponzu Fried Chicken, Curry Doria, and 2 Sours for a total of ~$100. While the food full review
