Krispy Kreme is the best Doughnut Chain restaurant in the US, and no one can convince me otherwise. The rate of consistency in their doughnuts is crazy. The doughnuts here are just as soft and fluffy as the ones down south, and the southern hospitality of the south is not lost in translation on its way up north. I go to Krispy Kreme about once a year in penn station. Up until this last week, I had no idea they had a location at Fulton Center - It's a little bit hidden when you exit the subway and more like a kiosk than a shop, but it's on the ground floor when you enter the station area. I preordered five dozen doughnuts for pickup for an event. When I arrived, the order was already bagged and ready for pickup. Well, we often recommend this chain of Donuts. Personally I didn't find them any better than that. Too chemical for my taste. And the same donut, what they put as "jam" is not really and very industrial.
