La Chula is a local spot with excellent food and drinks. The service can be slow and absent-minded, but the staff is attentive and smiling. A heater might be needed during cold weather. The tamarind margarita, birria quesadilla, and esquite are must-tries. However, the bar lacks liquor variety, which is disappointing.
