L'Amico offers an enjoyable dining experience with friendly and attentive service, though it can get very busy and service may be slow. The atmosphere is elegant and sleek, with good dim lighting and relaxed vibes in an industrial neighborhood. The seafood agnolotti and tagliatelle are tasty, and the calamari and scallops are standout dishes, being fresh and expertly prepared. The skirt steak is also commendable, noted for its tenderness and flavor. The mashed potatoes and tiramisu are worthy accompaniments, along with the hazelnut torta, though the Monte Bianco dessert is not as good. The eggplant bruschetta appetizer and margherita pizza are favorites, with the pizza being slightly overcooked with a burnt crust and less-than-fresh tomato sauce taste. Seating may feel a bit cramped, and some may find the Neapolitan pizza overcooked. Portions can be small, so ordering more is recommended. Free bread with olive oil is a nice addition.
