Laurel Condominiums

I live at the Laurel. They damaged our property, and we have a tree growing out of the roof over the side of the building. The tree grew because we did not have access to our terrace for a year. They allowed the drains to clog and leak into our apartment. There is a tree that grew out of the roof (their part as described in the declarations), and they refuse to respond to its removal; it continues to breach the concrete facade. The Laurel management and board leadership have consistently failed to protect and respect residents’ spaces or address issues in a timely or transparent way.
My private space was accessed without authorization, resulting in damages that remain unrepaired and unacknowledged. Requests for accountability and communication are routinely ignored, and maintenance concerns are either bypassed or dismissed altogether. My experience has been disappointing. I expected a high level of management and accountability. Instead we have endured over a year of unresolved damage to our terrace and home due to unauthorized access and damage. Despite attempts to communicate, have the board visit, view the damage first hand, we have received little accountability.
