Service was great but the food was mediocre. I totally get that rents are expensive in New York but this is no excuse to skimp on the quality of food. I ordered a $50 New York strip and it was very underwhelming. They also share a bathroom with the hotel restaurant next door and it's quite a journey to get to it.

Went for lunch...prix fixe format...everything was beautiful.....the service was spot on...plenty of crunchy great French bread...the 3 course prix fixe was reasonable for $55...the decor was beautiful with all the Art Nouveau and Belle Epoque touches....the lighting from the beautiful fixtures was perfect...we came here after getting married in City Hall 10 minutes away...so off to a good start !

Visiting from Louisiana on Thanksgiving and this was our first stop. Sat at the bar and had amazing service and food. Great atmosphere and beautiful building. Great start to our trip in NYC.
