My first time here and I used Too Good To Go and I got a muffin, and two crookies. The chocolate chip crookie was quite delicious. It was flaky and there is some chocolate on the inside, and a chocolate chips cookie on top of the croissant.
The servers were quite nice and friendly. The environment was clean and comfortable.

Worst service ever, very dirty and no quality food. Don’t waste your money here
The food is very expensive and you will not have a quality meal here. This is my second attempt. The omelettes are bland and very basic for nearly $20. Please find a better restaurant if you are looking for somewhere to grab a bite.

Been coming to this place for years. Quality of the food has drastically changed. Everything always tasted fresh. Now it’s hit or miss. Last two times we ordered sandwiches. The bread was stale, the chicken tasted dry, and the tomatoes were wilted. The sandwich had to be a couple of days old. For what they charge they should at least have the decency to serve people fresh food, daily. Gross.

The most stale, dry and tiny banana bread slice in NYC. What you see on display is NOT what you will get. They will give you something that’s been sitting under the counter for DAYS instead. Happened more than once. Shame for treating your returning customers like that. Never coming here again.

I went in Sunday evening to buy bread. Bayley helped me with my selection. She was super friendly and helpful. The rye sourdough bread was delicious. Will be back again!

Don’t go in on a Sunday morning and get a sandwich… The bread was soggy and cold… Clearly left over from the day before.

My experience was for the Danish cheese and the croissant cookies. They have a distinctive taste and the atmosphere is beautiful. Sessions are also available. The atmosphere is beautiful. Unfortunately, flat white is not available.
Good vegetarian options and delicious sweets!

Ordered a ham and cheese sandwich for 9.25 to go. Waited 15 minutes before I went up to the counter to ask where my sandwich was (they forgot) and came back with a pre-wrapped croissant without the mustard/pickles that were advertised. The kicker is I asked them if they could at least heat it up, and they said their oven wasn’t working…The seating area looked slightly nicer, but with the overpriced mediocre sandwich and lousy service that I recieved, all I can say is…STAY AWAY!

I think this is former hu kitchen location, hu kitchen is no longer exist, I used to teach around here, I wasn’t vegan at the time but always like the vibe and the food around here, didn’t realized that what I was eating was actually vegan, just veggies with quinoa?truly miss that spot. When you organize old photos truly can find some good memories? Updated from previous review on 2024-05-31
I was just passing by and the name of the place caught my attention...written in French obviously. Very good coffee, delicious patisserie, then I went further and ordered a quiche lorraine with a green salad. Out of curiosity and to see if the bakery was really French.
The very attentive waiter then went to the kitchen, a girl came out who looked at me from head to toe while I ate the quiche lorraine...then she entered the kitchen and in a derogatory manner said this one gross vache. (insult in French)
I suppose the waiter went to tell him that I asked for the quiche lorraine and when he saw me Latin, I suppose he was surprised that I knew French cuisine very well....
They should choose their staff more carefully. Unfortunately, they are not only looking for flavors and I believe with a poorly educated and classist worker it killed everything beautiful about that place.....etc etc
