I actually went to grab food at NAYA next door to this Le Pain Quotidien location but when I left NAYA I asked the NAYA worker were those green seats for here and she said yes there for everybody. It was nice outside so I going to eat outside anyway. Mid way while I was eating my food a worker with glasses and blonde top half hair and black hair on the sides, slim came out and was talking to me really fast. He was saying was I going to buy a drink or something and then he said this is for paying customers but I told him the worker in NAYA said it was for there too. He said it’s okay you can finish just for next time. But there were 2 ladies sitting in the green seats too same time as me eating Cava and he did not say anything to them only at me. They were a white lady and an Asian lady. I noticed this right away and felt like I was being racially profiled because I was black. I was still uncomfortable when I finished eating I went inside and told the cashier that was standing there about what had happened and pointed that worked out. I told him I just had to tell somebody cause I felt racially profiled. I had to go back to work but if I didn’t I would have asked for a manger or someone to make them aware too. It was so uncomfortable. All this transpired about 2:30 to 3:00 today 5/18/2026. I never bought anything from this establishment before but if I do I will not be going to this location at all due to how uncomfortable that made me feel.

Cappuccino coffee it was amazing the scrambled eggs as well. My daughter loved the chocolate croissant, and we also love the ambience as the place has been renovated and looks really new.

I would have liked it if I got to try the food but I left because the server didn't want to take my order. He asked me if I was ready and I said yeah and he walked away 😂 so I guess he didn't want to serve me. Might be why the place was empty.

I am incredibly picky about my coffee, but this place absolutely nailed it! I really enjoyed the cappuccino with almond milk and 1 suger. I went there 2pm in my lunch break when my energy level dropped to zero. After having a coffee I was charged for next half. The girl on cash register was so professional and knowledgeable. Very clean and cozy space. Restrooms are very clean. Will come back again.

The big cappuccino is nice but little bit too foamy. The breakfast sandwich was tasty but does not match the description in the menu. Service was very slow when the place was not crowded.
I love the Honey Lemon Ginger, but they should standardize it, they don't know how to do it, the girl who is in the afternoon only puts hot water and throws a spoonful of ginger and half a lemon It is a preparation that they already have made of the restaurant that is delicious so that not everyone knows how to prepare it ,

Le Pain is consistent in a good way. They always have a variety of great baked goods. Old favorites include Chia muffin, quinoa, scones, and since they are a bakery baguettes
Breakfast, Brunch, lunch are solid, including many vegan options. This is always my go to place to meet people for a working lunch/brunch.
The staff is always very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

Another great Pain Quotidien we visited in NYC! Delicious food and wonderful service. The waiter brought us extra silverware and plates when he saw we were sharing - he was attentive and very accommodating. The mini desserts are wonderful too to have bite sized versions and try different varieties. Could not recommend more! 10/10

We ordered three meals but only two arrived. I was told firstly that they had run out of Mozarella but I said no problem…. I chose another cheese only to be told 10 minutes later they’d run out of that too!Then when my husband and daughter got their meal I was told I couldn’t have the sandwich at all. No problem…. I ordered what my husband had. It arrived when my family had finished their meal 3/4 hour later only to be not what I ordered…. A sandwich in a croissant. Won’t be going back! 😂
