Life Time Fitness Reviews
I am from Tucson AZ. I can honestly say some of the front desk women haven't been the nicest to me and then I spoke with Val from membership services. He changed my opinion because he showed kindness! I have a few health issues no one would help me with and he did! He was understanding and even thru the phone you could hear the smile on his face. You need more people like him! Give the guy a raise! In AA we say it's attraction not promotion" he is attracting people with his kindness...read full review
Lindsay Boylan, the aquatics director at Columbia Maryland, needs to be fired. Yesterday.
I was physically touched and verbally harassed by another member at the Shenandoah, TX location after asking her to clean up chalk on shared equipment.
I filed a formal complaint. Staff said they would review the security footage.
When I followed up, management changed their story mid-conversation—from “you touched her first” to “you both touched each other”—and told me they “can’t guarantee safety” and “can’t really do anything.”

LifeCafe is a modern and well-maintained gym that offers a positive experience for its members. The gym has a good selection of cardio equipment, and there is usually no wait to use the machines. The weight section could be improved, but there is space for dumbbell work and mat exercises. The gym is clean, with an attendant frequently cleaning the facilities. It is also well located, peaceful, and very clean inside. Customers appreciate the affordable prices and the well-maintained environment. The service is friendly, and visitors can also enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful cups sold at the venue.
One of the highlights of LifeCafe is the Pilates classes, which are led by an experienced instructor named Julie. The Pilates classes are reasonably priced and provide a transformative experience for members. The instructor is highly skilled and makes the classes enjoyable and worthwhile. Visitors have found the classes to be a standout feature of the gym.
However, some downsides have been noted. People blocking pathways and emergency exits, as well as stretching in areas not designated for that purpose, can be dangerous and frustrating. Additionally, some members tend to monopolize the weight machines for long periods, which can be annoying for others wanting to use the equipment. The gym only offers TechnoGym elliptical machines, which some members do not enjoy.
Overall, LifeCafe is a modern and well-maintained gym that offers a good range of amenities, including a swimming pool and sauna. The Pilates classes are a highlight, and the facility provides a generally positive experience for its members, despite some issues with gym etiquette.
