So today I tried the boiled vegetable douplings, but when I received them, they were cold, as if they hadn't been boiled properly. The lady had an attitude when I asked for boiled instead of pan-fried, so I don’t know if that contributed to the horrible douplings I got. The taste was soggy and unfresh, which was a waste of $15! I couldn’t even get past one because the taste and texture were so disgusting. This was inside the train station, and this is not okay because it almost made me throw up. I would have had nowhere to clean myself up.

I got these as they were next to the subway and I was hungry. I was blown away by the quality of these dumplings! The best I’ve had in the city! I’m vegetarian and the veggie dumplings were amazing.

Dumplings are very flavorful and juicy. I got the pan-fried pork & sarakraut and the pork & cabbage. Highly recommend. The chili oil is fantastic and not too spicy; it is just right. I like mixing the chili oil and the soy sauce for optimal flavor. This seems to be a family own women lead spot where you can see them make the dumplings. This spot is more of a “to-go” option, as there is only one small picnic-style table.

I’m genuinely surprised by how highly rated this dumpling place is—unfortunately, my experience was far from great. These were some of the most disappointing Chinese dumplings I’ve had in years. The wrapper was thick and tough, and the filling was dry and stringy, lacking any real flavor. Overall, the taste was bland and underwhelming.

Either I was unlucky and got a bad batch—possibly leftovers—or the people praising this as “authentic Chinese dumplings” haven’t actually eaten dumplings in China. It’s hard to understand the hype.

The only reason I’m not giving it one star is because I didn’t get food poisoning. Disappointed and won’t be returning.

A Dumpling Marvel! The most exquisite, tasty and addictive dumplings ever!! They SHOULD be called, Lisa's FAMOUS dumplings. A buddy down in North Carolina came to NY to catch a Broadway show, where someone recommended he visit 59th & Columbus underground --> Lisa's Dumplings before leaving NYC! I STRONGLY AGREE & RECOMMEND you take a bag of Frozen ones for the family to experience, as well! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had the pork and chinese cabbage pan fried dumplings with hot oil and they were spectacular !! I got them to go because they only have one table. The services can get better, the people serving were a little cranky. But the food is worth it.

Love to see that they hand make their dumplings right in front of you! The fried Dumpling's are great and so is their chili oil but their customer service can use a little work.

I was at a doctor's appointment, and I was getting on the subway on Columbus Circle. It's the underground, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was beautiful to see the owner and workers making the dumplings right in front of you. Decided to eat them there at a little table that was available. You may get interrupted while eating because you are at a busy train station.

An excellent choice for a quick and satisfying bite! I tried the pork and Chinese cabbage dumplings, and they were absolutely delicious. If you’re near Central Park, I highly recommend stopping by this place!

Lisa’s dumplings are delish and taste so fresh! A real hidden gem. Love the pan fried pork & bell pepper and the chicken dumplings. Excited to try some other types next time!

Got the 4-choice sampler and tried one of each protein type. It's decent, pretty much what I would expect.

currently experiencing the worst case of food poisoning I think that has ever existed off of one singular “chicken” dumpling.

First time. Thank you. The fried beef & white radish dumplings were perfect. 👍👍👍

Lisa’s is a great option for fast, delicious dumplings! I got their pork and Chinese cabbage, pan fried - I’d include a photo, but they were so good that I wolfed them down. They were flavorful and very juicy, and clearly freshly made. The steamed side was tender and the pan-fried side stood up well during the five minutes I carried them home. The chili oil is mild, but still good. Highly recommend for a quick bite to eat!
