My partner brought me home one of their mocha croissants and chocolate chip cookies. We live uptown, Harlem, and let me tell you, that croissant made my toes curl. I had just several bites from the cookies and will give a full detail later, but this is some good stuff. Will be making a trip downtown ya'll.

It was such a pleasure to meet Chef Umbar once again. The pastries at Mah Ze Dahr Bakery are luscious and I have been a devoted fan for many years. I have several favorites and ate the famous brioche donut with the pastry cream filling and then the vanilla choux paired with a hot cappuccino made by Matt, the barista.
