In town on business and tried their Cortado.
Enjoy!

It takes pretty bad service to convince people to just go to Starbucks instead but that is the case here. Coffee itself is decent, which is a bar approximately 200 other coffee shops in lower Manhattan manage to hit, so not sure there's anything redeeming here
Hire more staff. Always one person working on busy weekdays. For $9 cold brew, I think we can afford it.

Located on the second floor of Brookfield Place, For Five Coffee @ Brookfield Place is a bright, modern spot across from the World Trade Center and aside the Hudson River. The espresso is smooth, complex, and completely acid-free, roasted in Queens. The Well-Balanced Matcha Latte (with honey + regular milk) is creamy, subtly sweet, and energizing without the jitters, offering a slow-release caffeine boost. An incredible strawberry matcha is also available, though drinks are on the pricier side. The chunky cookies are a must-try, worth every calorie. The service is fast, with efficient baristas and zero wait during rush hour. However, some reviews note that the service can feel unwelcoming, and a latte was bitter without the aroma of an espresso. Prices have also been an issue, with a cashier charging $1 more than the menu price. Despite this, it remains a great spot for an occasional treat, perfect for pre-work fuel, mid-shopping pick-me-ups, or casual coffee dates with skyline views. The staff is generally friendly, and the location is a prime people-watching perch for Manhattan’s morning hustle.
