About Le Pain Quotidien

Le Pain Quotidien is a well-located restaurant near One World Trade and high-end shopping, offering a range of options for a quick bite or a leisurely meal. The food is truly good, and the friendly staff provide a cool and fun experience. The restaurant serves soft-boiled eggs with delicious breads and spreads, which makes it a great breakfast spot. The cozy atmosphere is inviting, especially for cold pedestrians seeking a warm spot to sit. With attentive and kind service, Le Pain Quotidien is a great choice for visitors to NYC, with notable dishes including the black lentil bowl and tarts.

Customers have praised the excellent service, incredible cappuccino, and delicious baked goods like the French cream donut and crookies. The restaurant has also been commended for its kindness, as an employee made a special concoction of tea, honey, lemon, and ginger for a customer who was ill. While some have noted that the service could be improved, the overall experience at Le Pain Quotidien is highly recommended, especially for its tasty food and welcoming atmosphere.

It’s especially frustrating because the location is fantastic—right by the World Trade Center with plenty of outdoor seating—and there are very few alternatives nearby. We live just upstairs and would love to be regulars, but the poor quality...read full review
