I stopped in to this Le Pain as I was walking around this area. They are on South End Ave and it was easy to spot. Large metal frame structure at entrance with large sign.
Lots of outdoor seating as well as inside.
I got an Americano and it was made just right.
Most of the seating is for table service and the self service area is in a separate room and rather small.
Staff were all very nice.

I have had here breakfast and brunch. Very tasty. Summer menu is really good. Toast with peach and prosciutto and ricotta is something unique and impressive. Chicken sandwich is also good. Lox Benedict eggs breakfast as well. I don't know why they only have 4 stars.
It’s wonderful that Le Pain Quotidien has a location in Battery Park City! Thecstaff is wonderful and their menu is always delicious!
