I had a great experience at Starbucks Coffee Company. The space feels modern and comfortable, making it a nice spot to relax or get some work done. The coffee was smooth and consistent, just what you’d expect, and the staff were friendly and efficient. It’s a reliable choice when you need a quick pick-me-up in the city.
Great experience here! Great spot to study and have a iced coffee! The staff are very attentive and after having another person spill my drink a barista came over and offered to remake it for me, which really made my morning.

Starbucks Coffee Company is a modern and comfortable spot in the financial district, across from Battery Park and near the Staten Island Ferry and Wall Street. It is a reliable choice for a quick pick-me-up, offering smooth and consistent coffee and good drinks like the Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino and an unsweetened green tea Frappuccino. The space has varied lighting, feeling very dim like a lounge near the entrance but well-lit towards the back. It can be a nice spot to relax, study, or get some work done, though the music—loud R&B, soul, rock, and pop—can sometimes make concentration hard.
The store is very clean and not too big, with just the right amount of scenery. Service is generally okay, with staff described as friendly, efficient, and attentive. There are occasional inconsistencies, however, such as errors with mobile orders or drink sizes, like receiving a grande instead of a venti. The crew can sometimes be off point. Still, features like nugget ice for tea and the delicious, puffy whipped cream keep customers returning. It remains a regular Starbucks and a go-to store for many in the FiDi area.
