We, the citizens of the LES, come here to be insufferable. The creed of the concious consumer is symbolized by the totes purchasable as concessions. Enter here, and watch a film. Are you alone? Good.

Afterwords you will set out and brunch to the north. You will meet your compatriots and bewitch them with the universal and specific truths imbued in you by the screens. They will nod. They will listen. But only you will understand, as you are a witness to the mysteries...
5 stars for the curation and types of films shown, 3 stars for the actual theater. the wooden frames of the seats creak anytime anyone makes a move, and the seats are too close together. if you are shorter and sitting behind someone tall, it may obstruct your view. also, the sound isn’t great (it sounds very front and center), so if you’re toward the back, it’s not as immersive.
The space has a beautiful old meets new vibe. The upstairs bar & lounge space is great for after party screenings , or if not at a private screening, i'd imagine lovely for grabbing a drink after to chat about the film you just saw...(bartenders are efficient and make nice cocktails)
