Mezze on the River Reviews
I highly recommend Mezze on the River, my very first experience was absolutely amazing the scenery was to die for,as for the service, the staff they were all so friendly and accommodating especially Noel. The food was so delicious, I would usually take home my unfinished meal NOT today. I had the surf and turf my steak was almost melting in my mouth. Mezze on the River you were the finishing touch on my birthday. 🏆
Beautiful view. Delicious food.
Service was terrible. Hostess is not the brightest and was confrontational. She did not care about it being it family friendly restaurant at all. She was unable to help a family with 2 small children (2and 4) to get and umbrela or a table with a shade even though we had a reservation and there were multiple empty proper tables. After ordering our drinks and waiting for a solution with 20 minutes with our kids backing in the sun we gave up and left. We will never come back.

Mezze on the River offers a delightful dining experience with its stunning riverside location, exceptional service, and diverse menu. The restaurant's brunch, burgers, and French fries receive praise, while the Crispy Zucchini and Margarita Reposado cocktail are standout highlights. Guests enjoy sitting outside on the patio overlooking the Hudson, with breathtaking views of NYC and the Statue of Liberty not far away, creating a perfect atmosphere, especially during sunset. The staff is very attentive and exceptionally kind, taking the time to explain every detail of the menu. The food is consistently good and delicious, with items like the crab croquettes, lamb pasta, and Amalfi seafood dish all full of flavor and beautifully presented. The cocktails are crafted to perfection, and the chocolate cake is a sweet ending to a wonderful meal. The restaurant has a small, intimate feel, making it a cozy place for special occasions. While service can be a bit slow, it allows guests more time to enjoy their conversations. The outdoor area is dog-friendly and offers a beautiful setting, though at times, guests may find it frustrating if they are told outdoor seating is unavailable despite visible empty tables. Overall, Mezze on the River remains a popular spot for a memorable dining experience with great views and friendly service.
