Walked into Ming Kee kitchen today accidentally with starving belly when landed hours late in NYC. A hot pot of welcome tea right after seating, thankful in a cold and damp day! The noodle soup with shredded duck meat is typical Cantonese flavor, and the salty fish pellets sauted chicken is authentic. The roast duck is wonderfully tender and fatty with delicious skin. I always get it with some ginger and soy sauce. Pro tip: order with rice during the lunch special for a perfect meal on a budget. The same can be said about the roast pork which has the crispiest skin I’ve had from Chinatown.
