An old school place on Grand St known for their wife biscuits that are not too sweet. Pork and chive dumplings $14 for 50 of them and the big buns.
I live nearby- this place has amazing mooncakes and excellent service. I have tried pandan mooncake( see photo) and lotus, both excellent. take advantage of the happy hour dim sum with the local elders here. Their Har Gow is very tasty.
I absolutely love this place! First place I ever went for food in Nee York City and it had my heart instantly! The black milk tea, the sesame balls, any of the steamed red bean buns!!! But my favorite thing is the Chung fun (rice roll crepes) get it with the egg or the scallion and cilantro, 10/10 every time. Will always go anytime I’m in Chinatown.
