I’ve tried everything on the menu, and I would order again every single dish! Including the bread basket with those delightful little breadsticks! Yummy!

Nonna Beppa brings the authentic Emilia Romagna cuisine to New York (and Miami!!). The handmade pasta is outstanding, especially the tortellini and tagliatelle with prosciutto di parma. A true taste of Italy, highly recommended!

I visited Nonna Beppe for the foundation ceremony of the NY Tortellini Brotherhood. Our experience was fantastic. A restaurant well cared for in every detail from the furniture to the background music. To all this, the kitchen reigns supreme with dishes that remind us of the flavors of my grandmother when on Sundays she lovingly prepared lasagna and tortellini for her grandchildren. The service was very good. The final price is in line with the artisanal products they offer. Excellent experience

The same as other honest reviews said: the atmosphere is nice, the staff is pleasant, if not overly charming,, but the food is very mediocre. And for the price they charge for it, it's unacceptable considering the options around. Tortellini cooked in vegetable broth is over $25, tortellini in alfredo sauce is $27, and lasagna looked quite sad on the plate. Also, they brought us a $10 bottle of water without asking. Not good enough

This restaurant came highly recommended by a few friends and I was excited to try it as I love authentic cuisine from Emilia Romagna. Unfortunately, it turned out to be just another below average Italian restaurant with most of the dishes we tried falling below expectations in terms of quality.
As soon as you seat they’ll welcome you with a complimentary small bite which was nice.
We started with the gnocco fritto & charcuterie, which was recommended on the menu. I’d strongly suggest avoiding it because it is certainly not worth $39. The lobster appetizer special was also disappointing. Large portion, however the lobster was not fresh and had a gummy texture. The pasta with clams was overly salty and not enjoyable. The spaghetti with scampi was ok, however the dish came with a bizarre presentation: a langoustine head but no tail? It didn’t make much sense. The branzino filet was disappointing and tasted/looked like the frozen ones you can get in any supermarket.
The octopus main course was ok but came in a small portion. If you’re hungry avoid it. Desserts were unimpressive and all garnished with the same mascarpone cream.
Overall, although the staff was really nice and accommodating I didn’t enjoy my experience and would not recommend this restaurant. It simply didn’t live up to the hype and I don’t see myself returning.

Warm and authentic welcome, pleasant decor, delicious cuisine, quality products. Good advice for wines. My best Italian cuisine experience in New York! I will go back!

Food isn’t worth the price we paid, definitely better places out there. Portions aren’t enough to fill anyone for a dish that’s $25+ minimum. Wouldn’t recommend it even with a pulsd deal. You’ll end up paying $10 with tax and tip for “still water” which is actually an aqua Panna water bottle you didn’t ask for, anything to get more out of your pocket. I agree with other reviews that say this place has very shady business practices. If you’re looking at reviews to purchase a pulsd deal, don’t get it for this place. I usually use pulsd deals to scope out places I want to re-visit and this will scare you away from pulsd. And definitely not a place to go back to.

Our new friend, Nicco, from Armani Exchange who is from Firenze. He recommended this ristorante, based on the authenticity of the handmade pastas and family recipes from Bologna.Being that I am an Italian chef, and restauraunteur. There are sooo many Italian tempting restaurants that are close, but no cigar in New York, we gave a courtesy cancellation to where we had planned to go and were fortunate to get in for a late reservation around 9:30. We could not have been more delighted to find such an authentic gem not only was the food peasantstyle perfection. The best of cheeses the buffalo mozzarella caprese, parm-regg chunks to savor with the Super Tuscan Cabernet blend by the glass as well as a really well chosen Barolo we had multiple glasses. Above all our server, Pablo was the greatest Mexican Italian server I could ever imagine and we will go back to see him the next time we’re in town

Great little spot for homemade pasta! The lunch special (starter and pasta) was very well worth it. The special tortellini alla Guido with cream sauce was top favorite along with the parpardelle con fungi ?

Last minute reservation for us on a Thursday so was not sure what this place was going to be like. Well I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was lovely, service was great and the food was amazing. So glad we found it and would recommend plus go again next time I am in New York.

They charge a 20% tip I guess based on these reviews - they even changed my tip from 15% to 20% after I had paid and gotten a digital receipt. I filed a complaint with my credit card as that is an illegal practice.

Decent food. I came here with an offer from pulse. Just beware that they will charge you a mandatory 20% tip on the full value of the meal.

They tried charging me the full amount of the meal, then I reminded them of the offer they scanned earlier (prepaid). I didn’t argue the tip but it’s kind of scummy to charge this massive tip for a party of only 2. You will also be taxed on the full value of your meal. This definitely left a bitter taste. They smile and try to rob you blind. It’s sad what some restaurants try to do now.
