It’s yummy! It’s just not very stuffed with filling. Is very much mostly rice. But it’s yummy.
It was ready super fast, like 3 minutes.

We stopped by for lunch around 1pm on a Saturday. We ordered the special Fantuan (rice roll), jasmine milk tea with no sugar, and some Taiwan sausage.
There was no wait, we got our food in about 5 minutes and were able to sit at the restaurant to enjoy boba with our Fan Tuan. The purple rice was cooked perfectly and the food was delicious, healthy, and filling. Highly recommend for lunch or quick snack!

I legit found a rock in my food, i bit down on my rice roll and something really hard and sharp cracked in my mouth. It was a piece of GRAY GRANITE. How did a rock land in my food is beyond my grasp.

I’ll definitely come back for more fan tuan! There aren’t a ton of options back in Boston, so I’m happy to go to this restaurant with all of the iterations.
I got a sweet rice roll this time, but maybe vegetarian next time? I also added youtiao. The roll was HUGE with lots of rice. I was surprised there wasn’t an entire youtiao but rather little pieces. But I still liked it. Very filling.
i love u eldridge st nuan xin rice roll
I was in need of a refresher, so I gave this place a try. Was greeted by their friend and patience staffs. They offer both authentic drinks, food and snacks. I received my order pretty quickly. I recommend this place for any boba lovers and people that want to hangout. Definitely will be back when I’m in the area.

I got the crawfish rice roll with Sichuan sauce. After tax, it was $6.80. Inside the rice roll, there’s crawfish, pork floss, and lettuce. Spice level is just right for me. They sell rice ball, pudding, and milk tea. I also really like their purple rice over milk tea. It takes a while for them to make the rice roll. Really cute inside with the lights on the wall and seat. Very cozy inside and good music.

Great place to get a small meal or big snack, prices are very very reasonable, service is pretty quick. I usually like to call ahead to place an order for pickup and it’s ready by the time I arrive. It’s a go to spot for me now in the area! I also like their ‘healthy hot drinks’ - these are similar to Chinese hot cereal drinks, tastes very nourishing!

Was pleasantly surprised by the generous size of the rice roll. It includes purple rice, lettuce, salad sauce, and your chosen protein—overall, a satisfying portion.
However, I also tried the taro milk tea, which tasted quite artificial. wouldn’t recommend it.

If you like onigiri you should give fantuan/饭团 a try. It's like onigiri but with more filling and flavors and will actually fill you up. Best ones are probably the duck and braised pork. This place is a hole in the wall but service is fast and quality of food is great.
