I am elated to share the wonderful experience received during my visit to Ocean Prime Times Square NYC. I reserved a table for my USAF Bestie/Friend (of 46 years) and birthday twin (6/28) to celebrate her very first Broadway experience - PURPOSE! We arrived for dinner and were seated right away. Edison waited on us and Shukura (Manager) served us exceptionally well during the entire night. Edison and Myra connected over experiences in the Dominican Republic and Shukura and I connected over our shared love of missionary experiences and more. Edison treated Myra to a glass of champagne as we were celebrating her first NYC/NYC Broadway experiences. The food was excellent. I shared with both Edison and Shukura that my eldest son, Brandon, worked at Ocean Prime in Philadelphia. While employed there he came up with the recipe for their Warm Butter Cake so we were both excited to learn that the that dessert is still on the menu. Excellent!!! Overall, we had a fantastic meal, received excellent service and enjoyed great conversation with both Edison and Shukura. I truly hope that when Shukura makes a presentation to encourage the company to sponsor a missionary trip to either Cape Town, South Africa and/or the Dominican Republic that the powers-that-be see the value in serving others in those countries by providing whatever resources are needed....and that Ocean Prime sees the value to be had and makes a commitment to participate in a missionary trip to those places. It would be a blast to have that experience become a reality just because of a simple dinner with my friend that developed into a conversation with an opportunity to help others, attached. Wonderful! Kudos to the moist and delicious Salmon, Red Snapper, some of the very best Calamari ever, Roasted Brussels Sprouts and crisp salad greens. BRAVA!!! OCEAN PRIME!!!

We have made this an annual trip and it never disappoints. They say you can't go back, but with Ocean Prime, you absolutely can. The food is always delicious and they honored our request to have the same table and server. Shaikh always makes us feel as though we are guests in his home rather than diners at a fine restaurant. Unlike other NYC places, the tables are spaced nicely so you have room to enjoy yourselves and not overhear everyone else's dinner conversation. We will continue to go back again and again.

Ambiance, amazing, romantic experience! Fast, Professional, Quality experience. The calamari is the best we've EVER had, perfectly tossed is the perfect sauce. The complimentary truffle popcorn was a nice touch. The smoked old fashion was sensational and easy to drink. The steaks were cooked to perfection, especially the wagyu filet. The service was top tier, Natalya was wonderful and pleasant. We will be checking the Ocean Prime out in Dallas next opportunity!!

Everything was absolutely perfect *- good and ambiance was top notch, and Hunter is possibly the greatest server I have ever had ( and I do restaurant reviews as a 2cd job) and have owned 3 NYC restaurants. Keep doing whatever you are doing and I will be back very soon

This restaurant has been a favorite of mine in Manhattan for years. Beyond the food which is excellent, the staff and management here are the best. I have learned that if you have preferences in the way you want your dish prepared, they will gladly respond. If something is not perfect, they will try to correct it. While there are lots of top notch restaurants, in NYC, Ocean Prime remains at the top of my list because of its great service friendly attitude.
We were 15 minutes early for our reservation and were seated immediately, staff was extremely welcoming and kind. The vibe of the restaurant is beautiful. Our food came out fast and so delicious it's worth the price for sure. Staff kept up with our drinks making sure our glasses were never empty and cleaning up dishes as soon as they were cleared. If you're in the area looking for a luxurious restaurant this is it.

We celebrated my birthday at Ocean Prime last week. My date was running late and the place was packed. I was getting anxious because I didn’t want to loose the table, but the staff were exceptionally gracious, kind, and patient. They seated me almost immediately and brought over sparkling water and a bread basket while I waited. When my date arrived, the staff were seamlessly wonderful and generous. We were told there was no rush and to take our time. We had the New England oysters and the shrimp cocktail as our 1st course - excellent! We had the scallops and the grouper - so delicious and perfectly cooked. We always had fresh, cold still and sparkling water by our side. I had a “nogroni,” the non-alcoholic version of a Negroni, it tasted just like the real deal. I am usually disappointed by mocktails. Not this time. They even gave me a complimentary piece of cake for my bday to take home bc we were so full! Highly recommend Ocean Prime!! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Great example of you get what you pay for here - yes it’s pricey but the food, drinks and service are first class. In particular I have to mention Roisin behind the bar who took great care of everyone all night.
It’s a real throwback to the steakhouses of old and the personal service you get in them - it absolutely still exists here which is great to see.
