Really interesting food, some of which may be familiar, such as borscht, but other things which are not. The cheese bread (adjaruli)is excellent and definitely a window into a different cuisine. There are also Georgian wines made with unusual Grapes. The waitresses were very nice and helped to guide my choices. The restaurant ambience is pleasant, homey, and calm.
We had read good reviews of this authentic Georgian place recently and wanted to try it. I personally have not tried Georgian food, so I can't comment on whether it is authentic or not. However, it does remind me of some other Eastern European flavours and definitely felt and tasted home-cooked. Probably my favourite food when we went was the cheese bread (Adjaruli, recommended by the waiter and the most population bread dish). The other dishes we had were the hot appetiser...
