This place is everything. Perfection. Coming back to crush the 34 piece omakase and sign the wall.

I am seldom impressed by Omakase’s and rarely give reviews, but Omakase Sushi by No Name is exceptional.

The dishes are creative, delicious, and generous. You can taste the chef’s passion in every piece of fish. Be sure to try their “Secret Menu”.

Hands down the best sushi omakase I’ve ever had! Every piece was so fresh and flavorful, with amazing variety and perfect pacing. The chef DC put so much care into each bite and explained everything beautifully. Worth every penny — This was my second time by the way! Michelle the server made it more enjoyable she was very attentive and really took care of us! Thank You!

Highly recommend this place! My husband and I go to a lot of omakase spots in the city, and many of them tend to have very similar menus, products, and ambiance. Often, they’re also quite loud, trying to match the busy New York energy.

But this place truly stands out. First the music is not to loud and the place is peaceful. The selection is innovative, with creative explorations in texture and flavor. Chef DC has over 20 years of experience, and it really shows. he walked us through each creation with so much passion.

We were lucky enough to have the restaurant all to ourselves (5pm reservation on a Thursday) for our anniversary, and both Marie, the floor manager, and Chef DC made the evening incredibly special.

We’ll definitely be coming back!

This is a 10/10 experience. Omakase was amazing and well priced. Chef David’s combination of fish and flavor is sublime.

We’ve been to many different omakase places in the city, and I think this is one of the more interesting ones. Definitely a step up from the multitude of $65-85 omakase joints springing up around the city over the past few years that all serve essentially the same menu.

The flavor combinations here and ingredients used are much more interesting, and every piece is visually interesting to look at. One may argue that nigiri should be simple, but I enjoyed their pieces very much. The only critique we had was that the rice could be a little warmer.

Chef DC and host Mary were both very friendly and attentive. My wife needed some substitutions and Chef paid attention to her commentary on pieces she liked to create substitutions tailored for her.

The decor is enjoyable too. Lighting is gentle and music is quiet. Some other places either have really loud music or harsh bright lighting, which makes the experience uncomfortable for us.

They have a “happy hour” promotion going on right now (check their site). Make a reservation for 5 pm for two 17-course meals, and get half off the second meal. Definitely recommend giving them a try!

Had the 17 course omakase with my wife, honestly only a few pieces stood out. We just weren’t wowed, pieces were lacking flavor, after paying 350+ for two I would really want the sushi to be better.
