Park Ave Kitchen By David Burke is a beautiful space with Himalayan salt walls and a whimsical menu. The atmosphere feels sophisticated yet approachable, and the large space can feel quiet on a Sunday night. They sometimes come for work lunches or a midtown dinner and getting the food done properly, exactly what you expect for a NYC sit down lunch spot. Highlights include lobster risotto, bacon appetizer, clam pie, rigatoni Bolognese, short ribs with a subtle coffee‑BBQ glaze, and lobster dumplings. The cotton candy tree with cake pops is a cute dessert and the warm chocolate cake is delayed. Service is great, friendly, attentive and staff are very attentive. Prices are pretty reasonable for midtown, though they are on the higher side. Overall the restaurant has very good dishes and a striking space, but letdowns with bread and dessert keep it from a five‑star experience.
