I come here every time i visit. I Wanted to show a friend a unique New York experience, So we stopped by Patsys for some deserts to go. Had Tiramisu and Toasted Almond Cake. Both were spectacular. Popped into the upstairs to see where Frank Sinatra liked to sit.

Absolutely amazing experience. Food was incredible, atmosphere was incredible. Warm and inviting staff. Sal even took the time to show us the Frank Sinatra room and shared some special stories with us. Thank you to the incredible Patsys team. We will be back!

Original Italian atmosphere, great dishes, merging traditional recipes with NY little Italy cuisine. Special pasta dishes and soups, daily. A must, when in New York. I mean, frank Sinatra used to dine here!

Food was mediocre, customer service was very disappointing, 6 dollars for a small glass of coke and was never even offered any refills, employees were more concerned about chatting with each other than to check on us. Owner was friendly but other than that, staff is lacking customer service.

Trash. Don’t confuse this with the real Patsy’s, it’s not the same establishment, they just use the name.

Had an amazing experience at this Italian restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. From the pasta to the dessert, everything tasted authentic and homemade. Our waitress, Adriano, was outstanding — friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience even better with excellent service and a great attitude. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a date night or dinner with family and friends. Definitely one of the best Italian spots I’ve been to, and I’ll absolutely be coming back. Highly recommend!

This was hands down the worst restaurant experience I have ever had all due to the behavior of John the Maitre D. My party arrived for the reservation and was denied service by the restaurant staff.

Our party of 10 people, which included three 80-year-olds, a 10-year-old child, and our 14-year-old daughter, arrived early for our reservation. Upon arrival, the staff told us to leave and return at the reservation time despite having only 2 parties of 2 seated at the time, which we respectfully did. It is worth noting that the cancellation fee appears to have been charged before our actual reservation time, specifically after the restaurant initially asked us to leave and return later.

We then returned at the scheduled reservation time exactly as instructed. Despite complying with the restaurant’s directions and arriving on time for our reservation, the staff still refused to seat us.

During this interaction, the staff behaved in an openly hostile and disrespectful manner toward our entire party. In fact my 90 year-old grandfather, 80 year-old father-in-law were so disturbed that they shad to step up and attempt to reason with this individual. At one point, we were threatened and told we would need to “behave” if we were to be seated. The conduct of the staff was so upsetting that our 14-year-old daughter left the restaurant in tears. This was heartbreaking considering this was a gathering to celebrate her performing at Carnegie Hall.

We did not cancel the reservation, nor were we a no-show. We were effectively forced to leave due to the restaurant’s hostile treatment and refusal to accommodate our party.

While in ny,I booked this restaurant for a night out solo. Staff were very attentive and the food was outstanding. Met Sal and bought one of the cook books. He even signed it for me. This is a must go to when you're there.

A definite no from me. Don’t confuse this Patsys with the one in Harlem or the one in Union Square.

Upon sitting down the table was dirty. Server was rude, food was gross, it was like if you bought frozen pasta. Bread was hard and freezing cold, so gross. The bread “basket” had no lining just cold bread in a metal container. My husband ordered an old fashioned and they didn’t even know how to make it. They also used maraschino cherries not the proper old fashion cherries. The drink resembled more of a Shirley Temple so you know it was made wrong. 0 stars.

I genuinely cannot fault the place. Clearly some of the past reviews were expecting the RITZ experience regarding there food. You get exactly what you pay for. We visited on a busy rainy day and cannot fault any part of our experience. However, i didn't walk in expecting a Michelin star chef and meal.

I genuinely do not understand the hype around Patsy’s on West 56th Street. This place is supposedly a New York institution, but our lunch for two came to nearly $150 with tax and tip, and the quality was shockingly mediocre.

We ordered the eggplant rollatini appetizer, chicken parmesan, ravioli, and one mimosa. The chicken parm came with no side dish whatsoever and was bland and absolutely swimming in sauce. I actually salted it to try and get some modicum of taste out of it. The ravioli honestly tasted like something that could have come out of a can. Nothing tasted fresh, special, or remotely worth Midtown Manhattan prices.

The ambiance felt frozen somewhere in the 1970s or 80s — and not in a charming “old New York” way. More like it simply hasn’t been updated in decades. The waiter wasn’t rude, and he was accommodating when we made a last-minute change to the order, which I appreciated, but he also wasn’t particularly warm or attentive either.

For almost $150 at lunch, the food should be exceptional. The service should feel welcoming. The experience should feel memorable. None of it did.

Honestly, I’m baffled by the glowing reviews. Maybe tourists love it because of the reputation or history, but as someone who lives in New York, I cannot imagine choosing to eat here again with so many vastly better Italian restaurants in this city at lower prices.

If I could give zero stars, I would
