Secret place in the basement! Neat place, home-quality food, very friendly attentive service. No crowds or rush. We ate there twice in 4 days
Our third time coming here when visiting NYC. The best lasagna on the planet. On special, not sure if it’s a regular item, but it’s absolute perfection. I will dream about this lasagna forever. Carbonara was also spectacular, side salads were spot on. Absolute winner of Italian fare, and a hidden gem in bustling midtown. Atmosphere is cozy, service is genuinely Italian.

Joe G Restaurant is a welcoming, comfortable, and convenient authentic Italian restaurant in the theater district, just a couple blocks from Central Park. It is a hidden gem attached to a hotel, offering a cozy, home-like atmosphere for a splendid experience. The classic Italian food is delicious, exquisite, and made to perfection. The pizza is amazing, with a perfectly baked crust and excellent flavors, providing a classic NY pizza experience. Meals like personal pizzas, special appetizers, and classic NY cheesecake are highlights. The service is impeccable, kind, and literally the best ever, with friendly, accommodating, and phenomenal staff. The price is more than normal for the location, offering great value. With its amazing food, superb service, and cozy ambient, it is an absolute must for anyone visiting NYC.
