10/10 for location, things to do in and around hotel, but especially the staff. I have never had such accommodating staff anywhere to where I actually leave a review . They helped us when we missed our ride to Philly for a wedding and made sure we got there as well as helped us book all our plans. I will 100 percent be staying here again. Plus you can walk to Times Square and the rooftop terrace bar is awesome as well as the other bars in the hotel . When your feet hurt from...read full review
Beware of hidden charges!! Upon checking out was told we owed additional money for a facility fee even though we had already paid in full and was not told about this at check in. Seems to be a Hyatt thing as I’ve never experienced this before and it should not be addressed at checkout. Will not be returning or recommending.
It’s amazing . I love the fish tank when you walk in the lobby.

PHD Terrace at Dream Midtown offers a memorable experience with stunning rooftop views of Broadway, Times Square, and surrounding skyscrapers. Guests can enjoy a pleasant atmosphere, attentive service, and a variety of food and drinks. The decor is cute, featuring a cherry theme for summer that enhances the overall vibe. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making it a nice place to relax with friends. While many visitors praise the atmosphere and views, some have noted that the prices for food and drinks can be higher after happy hour, which runs from 5-7 pm. The drink selection is great, with highlights like the spicy cherry Paloma, and the ambiance is very chill, making it an excellent spot for social gatherings. The lite bites, such as Mac & cheese balls and fish tacos, are tasty, although some dishes, like the calamari, received mixed reviews.
The photobooth and cherry tunnel add to the fun, but guests have mentioned challenges with service, especially from busboys, who can be rude and overly eager to clear tables. Despite these issues, the rooftop's enjoyable environment, diverse music, and beautiful views create a great setting for events like holiday parties or birthdays. The indoor area offers a cool escape on hot nights, and the location is convenient, close to many well-known stores and Central Park. Overall, PHD Terrace is a charming spot with delicious bites and fantastic photo opportunities, though guests should be mindful of the service dynamics.
