Playa Bowls Reviews
If you’re looking for an amazing pre- or post-workout treat — or just something delicious to satisfy your sweet tooth without feeling guilty — this place is it. The service is always wonderful, and the Cowabunga Smoothie is one of my personal favorites.
Everything they serve is made with natural, organic ingredients, so you don’t have to worry about a bunch of ultra-processed stuff going into your body. It’s refreshing to find a spot that focuses on quality while...read full review
They utilize delivery apps to optimize their customers, but treat the drivers themselves badly. Won't allow the drivers to use the restroom even in an emergency/medical case. Claims they "respect" their drivers, but I never been to a restaurant who denies the drivers a basic necessity because they "aren't a customer". Playa Bowls is well-liked for its Acai bowls, with the "Pura Vida" being a popular choice. The restaurant stands out for its fresh and delicious fruit, including plump, juicy, and sweet blueberries. Customers can find fruit salad, mango, strawberry, and drinks. The staff are sweet and the place is clean. The service is noted for being fast and friendly, and the line is quick. Some customers have experienced issues with order accuracy, though other visits have been great with lovely and attentive staff. It’s like a smoothie but elevated, with tons of choices. Juices are so delicious as are the bowls, a favorite treat. Some customers found the cost in Penn Station to be more than at the beach. The people were very nice and didn't rush.
