I passed by, but it looked too modern for my interest in old-school mom and pop spots. Also, the man behind the counter was a bit cool, not welcoming like Greeks I know, so I left without purchase dismissing it as another corporate spot Later, I see it's 100 yrs old, and they were active citizens of the Manhattan Plaza miracle. Respect! I need to go back and try it.
The place where I discovered galactoburiko, and the best baklava I’ve ever had. Service is impeccable, like you’re with family. This is a must-stop-here whenever we are in NYC.

The Finikias / Melomakarona stole my heart away (I ate them 1 month after storing in the fridge, hopefully my stomach turns out okay).
All the strudels and pastries with cheese and pineapple and cherry etc were great as well. The cheese was just the right consistency.
Wow. This is straight up my best dessert shop in NYC now.
