I called to make a reservation and asked about the NYC Restaurant Week menu and was told yes. I called the today, the day of the reservation to change the time and again asked about NYC Restaurant Week menu and was told it was in effect. When I arrived at the restaurant I was told no there is no NYC Restaurant Week lunch… just an Im sorry.
So sad, spoiled the whole experience…..
Staying at the hotel, Bocca di Bacco Chelsea was a great choice easy to get to, cozy, friendly staff and the food was absolutely delicious. It felt comfortable and welcoming like a place you’d happily go back to again.
Great location, great menu including GF pasta. Prices are very good for NYC and the service was extremely good! Highly recommend

Bocca di Bacco Theater District offers a great dining experience for theater-goers. The food is of high quality, with popular dishes like gluten free rigatoni pasta and bolognese. The restaurant also features delicious specialty cocktails and tasty appetizers, including calamari and zucchini. The extensive wine and cocktail selection shows careful management. While prices are a bit high, the friendly and attentive staff create a welcoming atmosphere, making it a good choice for a pre- or post-show meal. The relaxed environment is perfect for unwinding after a performance, and the restaurant stays open until 11 PM on Fridays to accommodate late diners. The staff's thoughtful gestures, such as celebrating special occasions with complimentary desserts, add to the enjoyable experience. Guests have praised the efficient, friendly service and the cool atmosphere, with many mentioning the helpful bartender and the good-sized menu. The restaurant is especially recommended for those attending Broadway shows or matinees, and the three-course lunch is often praised for its quality. The venue can accommodate larger groups fairly last minute, with generous portions and a friendly vibe.
