Stopped by this place on Thursday so it wasn’t so busy. Very cute spot that just gets it right. The atmosphere is nostalgic and warm. We got the uncle Jimmy. It was delicious and packed with flavor fresh and they actually don’t skimp on portions. The guy who took our order was super chill and friendly. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but the experience makes it worth it. I definitely recommend it!
Excellent Italian sandwich. Got the Uncle Jimmy and it had everything I wanted in an Italian sannich - crispy bread, salty cured meats, mozz, red peppers, greens. It wasn't as big as I was expecting, especially at over $20 after tax, but it was very tasty.

Delicious sandwich stuffed to the gills with quality ingredients all without trending towards sloppiness. Yeah it's ~$20 for a sandwich but it is massive and it's New York. Only complaint (and it's kind of a borderline deal breaker for a sandwich) is the stirato bread tasted old/tough. Would definitely try again.
