I came once and ordered fried butterfly shrimps to go. The food was not fried properly and it came with extreme fishy/chemical(bleach) smells. I’m all about supporting local business but that was honestly disgusting. I had to throw out the food. The place also needs to leave a trash can outside. There are lots of garbages scattered around right in front of the shop.

Overpriced, 2 salmon steaks (not even wild nor big at that) costs 38$$$ no way in hell. Steamed baskets are tasty however.

A great selection of fish, place is clean, staff is attentive, there’s a section where you can have food cooked, or take the raw fish home. they clean the fish as well. I’ve brought Branzino, porgy and Red snapper filets. Delicious.?

Use to like this place! Yesterday 05/18/2024 I had flounder, jumbo shrimp with veggies and I ate it at work and after I ate it prolly like 30 mins later I had the runs! I am glad I was able to make it home in time! I know I have food poisoning from here and will never go back!

I am from NY and have been buying from here since 1994 maybe longer. You guys have to stop selling already Dead steamed crabs. I don't live here now but I'm here every 2to 3 months and I love love blue Crab and it's all year round here. I live where I have to order online. Anyway, someone is going to get really sick. Out of 2 dz @ $24 a dz had to throw out 1/2 because they were dead before they were cooked. I'm done for a while ?

**DONT EAT HERE NO MORE!! I CAUGHT FOOD POISONING! This fish market has been a staple in East Harlem for years and it’s known for its fresh seafood. But ever since Covid came along they have fell off drastically! The fish that sits on ice is covered by brown dirty ice and the fish eyes are red/brown. Good fish should still have a clear color indicating the freshness! I stopped eating the mussels from here for a few months because I witness not so fresh spoiled like muscles on ICE?! Just my luck I tried it over a weekend and instantly caught diarrhea and nausea. They need to be screened by the department of hygiene and be re-graded . Because this isn’t okay! Not buying from here no more unless it’s renovated or a new owner with different staff comes to straighten things.
