It seems that only a big group got the birthday celebration.

Ok. Nice place. But service was slow and uneven and the food was uneven. Nothing that was spectacular and a few misses (French toast way too soggy) - they should have recognized that they brought the last dish 10 minutes after everyone else and offered something.

When our party of 3 first arrived, we asked to sit outside. A snide remark was made about having so many people asking to sit outside and there is not much room. There actually was 4 or 5 availae tables outside. We were able to choose our table with some convincing. During the entire time we were there, seating was available outside. Aside from that, the waiters were not very attentive. They kept asking one of us if they were done with their plate while they were still eating. They took an empty wine glass off the table and did not ask if more wine was desired. Our party had to ask three times for a second glass of wine. When our table was cleared, the waiter asked if we were ready for our check. We suggested we may want to have dessert if they had a menu. The waiter dropped the menu on the table then came back after 15 minutes to see "what would you like to order?" Since he took so long, we decided to go to another restaurant for dessert and coffee. The food was elegantly presented and was very tasty (except for the hard bread and old tasting oil). One of us even took leftovers home. Overall, the experience was just okay, which is disappointing as our family frequents this restaurant often.Vegetarian options: Plenty of dishes that are vegetarian.Wheelchair accessibility: The outside seating area is the best (and possibly only option) for wheelchair accessibility.

Great experience, Friendly Wait staff, surprisingly was able to easily make a reservation for 7 on a Saturday. The brunch menu had delicious options, food was very fresh and good. Not too noisy, pretty restaurant, nice for pics, almost the entire restaurant sang Happy Birthday to my daughters and the desserts were delicious, I tasted the molten chocolate lava cake fresh and good. I will definately eat there again. My entire group was pleased.

After making the reservation via open table, we visited Serafina two days before the dinner, and specified a particular table. This info was completely ignored, and somebody else was already sitting in the specified table. The restaurant did not acknowledge nor apologize for this mishandling.

Staff/bar pretty nice. Owners are kind. Food is solid: apps are overpriced but salads and entrees are good. Fumo has a better price point for similar pasta.

Very cozy and nice. Long wait for service and both nights a waiter with shoes that click was distracting, but otherwise the seafood specials were outstanding.

Will not go back. Ordered salad with shrimp. It had 30 small hot shrimp on top of lettuce. Tried it but something wasn't right after trying it a few times. Told the waiter that the lettuce was wilted and the shrimp was not right. Still charged me for it and spent hours on the toilet

I’m amazed at how good the food was! We were a group of 10+ people and had a long table. We loved the truffle pizza, the vegetarian paglia e fieno, and the kale salad. A special delight was the stuffed pizza!I wouldn’t repeat the mocktail mojito (nothing special). Restaurant vibe is cute. We’ll definitely be back!

This charming, every-downtown Italian café is a part of culinary heaven for anyone with an eye for rather more sophisticated offerings of Italian food and the café experience. Upon entrance through the portals, the heady smell of freshly pulled espresso and baking would fill your senses, leading the way to an unadulterated experience. The café offers to its customers the most suitable choice among elite coffee blends, mostly of Italian origin, and a set of traditional Italian pastries, capable of transmitting the flavors of the most seductive Italian culinary culture. Meanwhile, modern-meets-rustic at best, with the warm lighting and plush seating, one is invited to linger over plates and glasses. Waitstaff are friendly and knowledgeable, making recommendations among their personal favorites or explaining the dish's origins. Very inviting atmosphere. The café also offers light meals such as fresh-paninis and salad preparations, all from the freshest of natural ingredients, on top of coffee and pastry. The café surely has to offer something for delight, either it be plunging into the day with a 'forte' espresso or lounging over a long lunch--sometimes people just need to indulge in something 'dolce.'

We were party of 5. Sat at table in front by window. We always enjoy Serafina.. usually go to 77th St near our home but were meeting out gradaughter and her Dad on 105 st near where they live. Only problem is that Serafina told Open Table we did not show up which is totally false. We were there 6-7:30. We can show visa charge for about $240. Please confirm we were there.

Traditional italian food. It was good, a little expensive, but good quality.

It was Valentine's Day and was crowded, the problem was not enough servers. We both had pasta and despite several requests it took several minutes before someone came by with the cheese grader. We sat waiting while the food got cold. Also, 14 dollars for 4 ounces of wine? That's a rip off. We love to support our neighborhood restaurants but next time we'll try Fumo.
