Charming cafe close to Carnegie Hall and Columbus Circle with excellent Italian sandwiches. These are not hefty submarines with cold cuts like Subways, but excellent, authentic Italian ingredients (think prosciutto, soppressata, bresaola, or speck; olive tapenade; mozzarella; scamorza; artichoke spread; sun-dried tomatoes) on fresh bread. I had a fantastic experience at Sfilatino in NYC near Columbus Circle! Their Italian sandwich was delicious, paired perfectly with crispy chips and fresh coffee. To top it off, they surprised me with a free dessert. Great food and exceptional service! ?☕?
