ShabuShabu GEN offers a complete dining experience that charms both aesthetically and gastronomically. The restaurant boasts a beautifully crafted Japanese interior with City Pop music playing softly in the background, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The menu features a variety of dishes beyond just meat, including vegetable-rich options that are beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Guests can choose between the American Wagyu course or the pork course, both priced reasonably and crafted with care. The extensive drink selection ensures there is something for every palate, from beer and sake to wine. The meticulous presentation of the food showcases the beauty of Japanese culinary art, with authentic flavors and traditional cooking methods. Diners can choose between shabu-shabu or sukiyaki preparation for their meal, adding an interactive element to the experience. This high class Japanese themed restaurant provides an authentic and delicious meal. The food itself was affordable and of highest quality. Guests can order a set that comes with wagyu beef sushi, wagyu steak pieces, a hotpot set with lots of Japanese and American Waygu, and a matcha affogato dessert. The American wagyu beef meal came with fantastic and beautiful appetizers, an extra app from the chef, a great portion of high quality veggies and the meat and sauces were phenomenal. This place did not disappoint shabu fans. It's super quiet and a nice reprieve from the city. The match green tea is a special treat. The ambiance was cozy, the staff was super friendly and helpful and the food was next level delicious. It is a little pricey but it's worth every penny. Do not skip the Japanese wagyu!
