Place was crazy busy but food came out hot and fresh. We eat a lot of burgers and this is our go to place when we're in a hurry. Overall lived up to the expectation.

Horrible wait time ordered only two things cheese fries and waited 20 minutes. They have an attitude no urgency. they even tried to give me a ripped bag. Worse shake shack in the city. Even the male
Philippine manager had an attitude because i asked about my order and how long i was waiting. They made food ordering apps a Priority over the people waiting inside.

My DoorDash order was very cold. Especially the onion rings. Not fresh at all.

Always come at the earliest, once it gets packed it's sometimes tough to find a seat especially if you going there by yourself. But the food is great and service is good. I work customers services myself and I get it. It can be overwhelming once the place is packed and crowded.

I placed a mobile pickup order around 4:51 PM and then went shopping next door. I arrived at the Upper East Side location around 6:11 PM, but my order was not ready. The female staff member at the pickup station was friendly and promptly notified the kitchen, but what happened afterward was concerning.

A tall male staff member — who appeared to be in a managerial role — approached me and said they would only remake my order if I left a positive review. He also claimed that Shake Shack discards mobile orders if not picked up within a certain time window, which contradicts my past experience. When I declined to write a review on the spot, he took photos of my order confirmation and went to check the system. He later returned, said my order had never appeared, and manually entered it. I finally received my food around 6:30 PM.

I usually receive a text notification when my order is ready, which did not happen this time. Technical issues can occur, but it is inappropriate for any staff member to pressure a customer for a positive review — especially when the order was missing in the first place. That’s why I’m here leaving this review.

You have 15 people working in the kitchen, and my food took like 25 min to be served, in the past has hair on my fries 😞

Food was okay. They got my order wrong TWICE. First time they gave me two completely different burgers then when I told them about it they threw them out in front of me and made new burgers but still got it wrong because I asked for no bacon and they put bacon.

Shake Shack is my favorite burger spot in New York. Everything tastes fresh and delicious, from the burgers to the fries, and the service is consistently good. A great place to enjoy a quality meal every time.
