Shiki Omakase Reviews
Our first lunch in New York and it was ABSOLUTELY amazing! Thanks to Money Sign Eric for posting his video on YouTube. So glad he did! We will also make this our last dinner in NYC before we head back home. The food is DELICIOUS. The chefs are INCREDIBLE. 5 BIG STARS! We LOVE IT!
A wonderful experience with unlimited happy water, delicious nigri and other offerings, and warm and inviting staff. Having a bit more time between each piece wouldve made it even better 😊 regardless, highly recommend!
8/10 this is a high quality place for sure. Would def go back. The 17 course was a good deal at $100. We opted for a few extra pieces and those were somewhat over produced (a bit too much going on). Not at all bad but not as stellar as the main course. Great place you should try if higher end sushi is your thing. No rolls, no sauces and no BS…..

Shiki Omakase offers a fantastic dining experience, serving high-quality sushi made right in front of guests. The chefs are friendly and knowledgeable, providing information about each dish and its ingredients. The restaurant features two omakase options: a 12-course meal for $65 and a 17-course meal for $100, both showcasing delicious and fresh ingredients, including seared A5 Wagyu and King Salmon. The traditional omakase bar seating provides an intimate and personalized experience, allowing for easy conversation with guests and interaction with the chefs. Guests have praised the attentive staff and the chefs' care for every detail, from the freshness of the fish to the pacing of the courses. The 12-course meal is paced over an hour, with the option to order extra sushi afterward. The ambiance is minimalist, focusing on the food, and guests can even enjoy BYOB with a corkage fee. Shiki Omakase is a great value for its unbeatable price, making it a must-visit spot in NYC, and many recommend it for anyone seeking a memorable omakase experience. Guests have highlighted the sweetness and silkiness of the scallop, the melt-in-your-mouth richness of the wagyu and toro topped with caviar, and the freshness of the king salmon. While the pieces are smaller compared to other places, the overall quality and experience are considered reasonable for the price. The intimate space creates a calm, SoHo-cool ambiance, and many guests plan to return for another unforgettable experience.
