One of the best meals I had in New York City! The lamb over rice was amazing. Would definitely recommend. Very kind man running the truck.

Its not good for me. If you look for comfort, hygiene, fast service and happy face you can't find them here. But it's too popular in NYC.

There is NO reason this random halal cart should be so good. Chicken is fresh and perfectly cooked, the guy who is there when I go is super nice and gets the spice just right, and it's pretty cheap at just $8 a plate. The portions are good, if I eat at 6 I'm usually full the rest of the night. I've had quite a few chicken over rices since I moved here, THIS one is the BEST, by far the best meal under $10 I've had this year. Also, it's ready really fast. Usually you can't get cheap, good, and fast—this is a rare exception

Some of the BEST halal food I've ever had in the city. I'm a native New Yorker so I've tried a lot of halal stands. This food is cooked with just the right spices and flavors

I have no idea how this spot got a 4.7. This has to be one of the worst halal cart food I have had in the city. White sauce is soggy, the meat tastes like it’s been out all day and not fresh. I would avoid.

I chose this place for my afternoon meal and was satisfied. Our conservative ordering gave us a limited but OK impression. Their employees deliver memorable service! They make tasty food from fresh ingredients without overcharging. I'm looking forward to returning here!

Listen these food trucks don’t have halal hotdogs. They will tell you then do but they’re lying. Ask them to see the package and look for the label. I went to the 3 in this area and they all smirked because they know they’re lying. Sorry to disappoint but they are NOT halal. Idc how good the food is, 2 star for lying to your customers. We walked miles to get to this food cart only for it to not be halal. What a shame. If they lie about the hot dogs, I’m sure they’re lying about the rest of the meat.

Got food from this cart with a friend and we both got sick afterward. It didn’t seem clean, and now we know why. Wouldn’t recommend.

They don’t change their gloves after handling cash then touch your food.. nasty

Me and my friend decided to buy from the halal cart. You would think that a 7 box chicken and a 8 box for combo is good. He didn’t update the price until when we had to pay and he said everything is a dollar up.

Another point, me and my friend ate our food and my other friend had the rest. What did we have all in common? Throat infection and a stomach ache. It wasn’t just the hot sauce because my friend didn’t get any, so it was either the meat or the rice. The guy was chefing up our food, maybe he should do hibachi instead. Super interactive very talkative but I wouldn’t be surprised if some spit got into the food, or droplets because there wasn’t much ventilation in his cart. Only at the front.
