This is what you call a 2 Michelin star sushi ya? Dam nyc sushi is falling apart with $35 dollar omakase and this $500+ nonsense. Made a reservation a month ago was a bit excited since they got 2 stars so I’d give them a try. Once you walk in you definitely get that Japanese vibe so you know the chef is Japanese cause 90% of the omakase restaurants in nyc is own by Chinese, we’ll get back to that in a bit. My experience let’s just say it’s sloppy, chef focus on the customer he knows and pays no attention to ones he doesn’t and make it too obvious. Fish was regular premium Japanese from any Japanese seafood vendor nothing really stands out and the uni was no fresh and the toro was terrible and chewy they don’t even use any techniques to remove the sinew. Decor was nice, nice counter and chairs but that’s about that . With that price i can name 20+ places i would rather go and also listening to other customers talk and ask questions I know they don’t know anything about sushi the regulars that come, just rich ppl that don’t know how to spend their money

DO NOT DINE AT SUSHI NOZ!!!
On June 7 my card was charged $1,197.68 for a reservation I never made. I reported the issue within two hours and was told it would be handled. When I followed up on June 11 there was no response until June 14, when they finally said the guest had already dined so no refund was possible. It is outrageous that a restaurant can ignore clear fraud and leave the customer to deal with it alone. Stay far away from this place!!🚨

Incredible experience, unforgettable.

Probably the greatest meal I’ve ever had in my life. The food all had so many complex and intense layers of flavor and the wine/sake pairing were immaculate. It’s certainly not cheap but I do believe it was worth every penny. Truly an experience I’ll remember for the rest of my life.

We did the 6pm omakase. Everything was phenomenal and delicious. Definitely planning on coming back.

Celebrated a birthday here with my wife. Service was highly professional and thoughtful. Amongst the best sushi experience I’ve had in Both NY and Japan. The chefs here are very talented. I would like to come back and try more of their seasonal menus.

This place was pathetic, and pure garbage piled up on rice. Some of the fish literally had a stinking taste to it. This was pure, overpriced garbage, not memorable in any way. Even the room where we dined looked uninspiring in every way possible - on top of that, we were being served omakase by some inexperienced chef - Chef Taka (although, a nice person, but that doesn’t mean anything if you’re paying at that level for the food and experience). We paid for the main chef but got scammed into a different chef. Honestly, even if we had the main chef, the quality of this place is pure garbage - it may have been good at one point but now it seems to be neglected and full of scam artists looking to make a quick dime off of patrons.

I’ve had way better omakase in this city for a fraction of the price. And at this price point, I’ve had food that is actually worth it. But this place is a total scam elevated by a carefully planned out viral PR strategy. Forget the price, it was just an absolute waste of time - time that I will never get back again.

Not worth the price or the hype at all!! Should've stayed away as people on Tik Tok were saying how overrated this place is. They are scamming people charging this high price for very little pieces. Super thinly sliced and nothing exceptional. Worst omakase place I've been to, if you're thinking about going here do yourself a favour and go elsewhere!!

Remarkable and one of the best omakase sushi establishments in NYC. Very bold, authentic, and traditional use of red vinegar that I was surprised to encounter outside Japan. For those who know.

Food used to be higher quality a couple of years ago. Now they have decreased the portion sizes and exponentially increased the price. We ordered the “omakase” for $95 for pick up and received a meager serving (pic below). Wish we saved the month for something else.

We used to come pretty often, but won’t be back for a bit, if ever.

Do not go to sushi noz. They masquerade selling the Hinoki room with Chef Abe and give you the Ash room with Chef Taka. No knock on chef Taka but when you pay 2100 USD for chef Abe and get Chef Taka, it is not right. I tried to go into the Hinoki room just to take a look at it and I was shooed out. Chef Abe did not even come out to the Ash room to take a picture with us. Why charge so much without the celebrity chef. BS. Will never come here again. I came here and did not go to see Chef Masa to see Chef Abe at work and could not even see him. BS. Do not come here. I am pissed. What a waste of time and my money. Please go to Yoshino or Masa.

We celebrated our engagement here because we wanted a special meal to culminate an amazing day. The food, ambiance, and culinary experience was all incredible. Can’t wait to find another reason to celebrate and go back
