With so-called Omakase joints popping up on every other corner in New York City, it was a pleasure to find a reasonably priced high-quality dinner with excellent fish, well prepared by the friendly sushi, chef, Feri. He’s a bit shy at first, just going about his business, but if you engage with him a little bit, he is quite charming. The counter seats only six people and is tucked away in a small corner of the gray lady restaurant, with a separate entrance.

One of the best omakase in town, PERIOD (we have been to several with same price point).
No vavavoom over the top creation just pure focus on high quality fish and intimate service to details. Felt like you are dining in a speakeasy with just 6 /8 seats at the bar with curtain closed once everyone is seated.
Normally we dont order extra pieces but this time we both got a second of our fav, uni and scallop.

It’s a small setup with 6-8 seats at the bar. The fish is top notch and the chef is knowledgeable.
The price is quite reasonable and they offer a wine pairing that will leave you toasty. Can’t recommend enough.
