I would’ve been tricked into giving this place 5 stars. On their tables they have an offer that says if you give them 5 stars they’ll give you a free shirt with their logo. They have a B health rating which typically means the food is pretty good, but my popcorn chicken did seem a little weird but I guess I was fine. The cashier was a little softspoken though it’s not her fault. Their boba was admittedly pretty good and they do seem to be a local spot. 3 stars for extortion...
The bento boxes are delicious here! I was so hungry to dig in that I only remembered to take a photo halfway through! The crispy chicken leg was freshly fried so ultra hot and crispy and perfectly seasoned. The minced pork over rice was so delicious and flavorful, reminded me of home. I was very happy with my meal. Definitely recommend Taiwan Bear House for a tasty and satisfying Taiwanese food experience!

I liked the popcorn chicken, mainly due to the rice with topping.
The scallion came with white rice which was nothing special.
