Paid a $100 deposit and was sat near the restroom Waitress was not checking in on us, did not even receive any silverware. We had to ask after we were waiting for our food for about 40 minutes to a hour. I asked for the check and the waitress brought me my receipt, as I was walking outside the waitress comes out and said that I didn't pay, but as I said in the beginning I paid a $100 deposit. Overall the food was good but service is terrible.

Although I understand the $50 deposit to secure the reservation, I thought that amount was excessive. That forced us to spend at least that amount or forfeit any amount left. I know that they can not control who walks by their establishment but it was sort of sad seeing so many homeless people walk by the windows. The waitress was great and had an up beat attitude. The food was good but average quality.

Fried lobster appetizer very disappointing especially at $32. Main courses were brought to table less than 5 minutes after the appetizer. Service lacking. Probably won't go back.

It was not clear that the $100 deposit I placed to hold the reservation for 2 people had to be used completely. Our meal cost $60 total, they made me pay $4 in tax on a separate bill, and then insisted the rest of my deposit go on a gift card for another use! I will not make another reservation that requires a deposit! They already have too much of my money for a simple brunch for two! I had tried to call twice to modify/cancel my reservation and only got an AI assistant who asked me to call back later. On the positive side, our server and others were very nice and the food was good. The policies at this restaurant are not clearly spelled out and are ridiculous. I will not be back to use my gift card.

This is was second time at Taste Kitchen, we were in town for an event and I decided to take my sister here because I LOVED it so much the first time. We were seated within 5 minutes of arriving, we had made reservations but got there late due to going to the wrong location (didn't realize they had more than one haha) our waitress was kind and attentive she took our order and the food came out within 15 minutes and looked amazing. I was so excited for my sister to try it. My sister took a bite into her chicken sausage and felt a crunch and spit it out finding pieces of glass in her sausage. We were pretty shocked but also at the end of the day we understand things happened. So she alerted the waitress who was apologetic and said she would send the manager over to speak to us. The manager came over and apologized and said he's not sure how that happened. He asked if he could get us anything and my sister said no she just wanted her food so they took her plate and remade the entire plate, which was great but added more time for her to wait. We didn't make a huge deal out of it since 1. I'm a great fan of there food and I understand if your going to go out to eat at a restaurant..things happen, they brought her food out 10-15 minutes later we ate and then they brought the check. Not going to lie I was pretty disappointed that the manager did not offer us ANY compensation let alone anything for the mistake/hazard. This was glass. Not hair, not a bug (even though those are awful, but glass) The waitress was absolutely not at fault here and we don't go into places to nit pick, just to enjoy the food, and atmosphere and while I am a huge fan of the food here. I'm definitely a little disappointed in the way the manager handled this situation. Which in turn lessened our experience. Which was my second but my sisters first.

Believe the hype!!!! Everything was great. Watermelon margarita was good. Food was amazing. I had the herb lamp chops starter.....to die for. The meal i had oxtails, collard and yams......music was a vibe. Loved it!! Highly recommend and would return.

Do not make a reservation. They will try to charge you at least 50$ per person regardless of if you order that much or not. If you don't hit the 50$ mark they offer a gift card with the remaining balance, not helpful to someone who is visiting from out of town.
