Excellent! Sophisticated flavors. Each dish took a minute to comprehend the complex flavors but then we loved it.
Friendly welcoming service. Excellent regional food choices. Specials and cocktails. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
What a lovely dinner! We took our daughter and a couple of her college friends after move in. The service was awesome until the restaurant got busy then it slowed down markedly but understandably. The food was fabulous, the recommendations spot on and the restaurant vibes so lovely. Would highly recommend!
The food is excellent, portions are a bit small

Mauricio, the owner. Man, let me start out by saying the class and respect he gives every single one of his customers makes you feel like you just walked into your own home. The food is always fresh and always just so good. I’ve ever had a bad meal in the 10+ times I’ve been here. It’s starts from the boss all the way down. The attention to detail making sure everything is exactly where it should be. The food speaks for itself. The ingredients, the delivery everything is top notch Italian food. My favorite is the chicken parm and I’m usually not one for thicker cut of chicken but let me tell you they cook it to perfection and the sauce they use is to die for. Recommend the Cesar salad as well. One of the best I’ve ever had. 10/10.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful anniversary dinner there. The service was excellent and the food was delicious + reasonably priced. The perfect choice for our celebration.
This place was fantastic, the garlic bread and Cacia Pepe were legit! In a sea of NYC Italian restaurants, this place stands out!

Overall nice restaurant, pleasant owner, food portions could be larger for the price. Be aware drink prices can be expensive e.g $26 Old Fashion?? Desserts were innovative and very good. Classic NY Italian Restaurant experience!! I would recommend if in the area.
I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. It felt like we were family the customer service is incredible. The food was absolutely amazing. The dessert was absolutely mind blowing!!! The wine selection was amazing. It was so authentic yet every dish had a little something that made it so unique. It’s a place i will never forget. The ambiance is also amazing the little outdoor garden seating area is so cute and romantic. I’d recommend reservations, but depending on the time you might find a table.

A Hidden Gem That Feels Like Home – Taverna Di Bacco
Taverna Di Bacco, This family-owned and operated restaurant radiates warmth, authenticity, and a kind of old-world charm that's increasingly rare to find. The ambience is beautifully curated: cozy, intimate, and filled with the quiet hum of conversation and laughter, like a long-lost Italian village tucked into the heart of the city.
What truly elevates the experience, though, is the service—especially from Keira, our waitress for the evening. She was a ray of sunshine: attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without pretense, and genuinely kind in a way that made us feel like honored guests in a beloved family home. Her recommendations were spot-on, and her passion for the menu and the story behind the restaurant was contagious.
The food? Outstanding. Every dish came out perfectly timed, beautifully presented, and full of flavor, clearly crafted with love and tradition. Thank you Manuel!!!
Dining at Taverna Di Bacco isn’t just a meal—it’s an experience. A family legacy served with heart, where guests are treated like family. We can’t wait to return.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. Chef is there every night. The food is superb and so is the service. I prefer to sit in the open courtyard in back. I feel like I'm in a movie set. Everything about the restaurant speaks of care and attention. A dish as familiar as chicken parmigiana is prepared so deliciously and tastes so fresh, that I wish my stomach was bigger so I could eat two. Also, I submit that the garlic bread is the best in the city.
🧄 Incredible spot if you’re a garlic lover!
Came here in the afternoon for a light meal of appetizers. The garlic bread and spinach side dish in particular were loaded with soft roasted garlic 🤤
The bruschette were also great and highly recommend for a sweet snack with drinks, but not if you’rehaving a whole meal after.
