Pricey, but good. Very drafty near the front.

The burger (the Elgin burger) I got was good!
Cooked just right, and one of the thickest burger I ever had! Fries were very good too.
I liked how it looks inside, but it is quite noisy.

We went to The Elgin on December 13 a super busy time and the service was amazing! We had Leo as our server and he was incredible- we found a new favorite place to eat in the city!!

Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! The wait staff was friendly and accommodating, the whole place was nicely decorated for the Christmas holiday, and the atmosphere was very cool. Prices weren't bad for NYC either. Highly recommend, definitely worth a visit!

Was in NY to see all the Christmas stuff. Was starving and stopped into The Elgin. This place is beautifully decorated and the bar and 1st level was packed.
There were 5 of us and we didn’t have reservations. They put us upstairs at a high top for 5. It was perfect
Now the service. We were very well cared for by Sinead (sp?)
She was very busy and still took very good care of us.
Last but not least, the food. Everything we ordered was amazing.
When we left there were many people debating whether to go in or not. I told them they weren’t going to get a better meal anywhere so they all went in.

Service was very fast and the food was excellent. Their beer is delicious. I highly recommend their chicken wings, very flavorful.

Came for a company Christmas party. Bar was standing room only. I had nachos, wings, fried cauliflower, braised ribs with potatoes, and their almond cake. All tasty.

Great experience. The food was delicious, the Christmas decorations were brill. Very relaxed atmosphere and the service was excellent. The waiters were terrifically attentive. The portion sizes were generous. A starter with the mains left us stuffed. The fish and chips had an interesting chili tartar sauce and well worth it. The French onion burger was decedent and delicious.

Typical crowded bar off 6thAve on a holiday Sat.
Amazing truffle fries.
Decent beer selection. Good looking cocktails were being made.
Like this place!

The hostess nearly turned us away when tables were obviously available. If I can save one person from ordering the Isco Spritz, let this be that warning (whoever thought tequila and prosecco was a good idea should not have a say in the cocktail menu). I sent it back and got another drink. Every time I looked for our server, they were talking with the hostess and other servers. I ordered food and it never came but I didn’t even bother to mention it because I just wanted to pay the bill and get out. I generously give 2 stars because my drink was taken back and taken off the bill and I was given a new drink immediately. The rest of my party seemed to not mind their drinks and appetizer.

Food was not good at all. The menu online did not match the current menu. Food was greasy and not tasty
