I love the one in West Village, but this one in Chelsea disappointed me, it was crowded, which I am used to it on a Saturday morning, but they gave my food to these two girls sitting next to me twice and they ATE IT, without ordering? The waiter gave it to them and they got confused and ate it anyway, then the barista (I was sitting at the bar) took of the food from them? And asked if was mine and gave back to the waiter and the two girls looked confused, then they gave my side of bacon to them, and again, they ate it, and after 10 min I asked for my side of bacon and the waiter looked to the two girls and they're eating the bacon and he just said: sorry, that wasn't yours. Like? What? It took me so long to finally finish my food.

My eggs came cold and latte was not exactly hot. French toast was good, but the home fries and eggs had no flavor- I drowned them in hot sauce. Portion sizes are kind of small for the price. The tables are very close together and makes you subject to your neighbor's conversations.

Took a chance and was pleasantly surprised. Lovely little place that felt cozy and had a great vibe. We enjoyed our food and the service was great.

Rushed us with bill 40 min after reservation started and told us “we actually have another reservation now” 45 min after our reservation started while we were still eating. There were two other empty two tops when they told us this.
Food is reasonable.

I always wanna love this place but it fails short every time, the last 3 time in the last 6 months. Food is Great but the service is practically absent. It would be easier to order at a kiosk and pick up when called.

2 visits in one day…1st visit waited over 30 mins on food, after 25 mins they tell us they have no avocado, surely that should told to us before 25mins, bottomless coffee with no one to refill it, anyhow took the food to go and ask why it had taken so long, told there was a large to go order that held it it up, maybe the waiter could have mentioned it was backed up, we were not not the only table having trouble…after an errand we arrived back, we still had our 1st order packed in the bag, my wife wanted the Mac and cheese fresh so we ordered it again, this is what the 2 stars is for…she really enjoyed it, I got the bottomless coffee again, hard to locate anyone to fill, fried chicken sandwich on recommendation of staff member, might have been the smallest piece of chicken ever, enough said. Sub power food in a nice atmosphere with poor service. 120 dollars later.

We ate two hamburgers and some chicken nuggest.
Good food, obviously not worth paying $90 for.
Without a doubt, what surprised me the most is that they close the restaurant at 9 p.m. on a Saturday night, without warning and turning on the lights and with dinner half finished.

Place may supposedly be good for dine in, but not ordering take out, ever again.

Wife ordered a grilled cheese and they surprisingly sent this out. I get this spot is not fine dining and it was one time, but if this slips past the workers I don’t want to know what else does.

EDIT: Due to the empathetic response from the owner, I couldn't provide such a low rating for 1 instance.

Dave (owner), this occurred yesterday around lunch time. It was through a delivery service and we already received a refund but appreciate the kind gesture.

CHELSEA, NY - This is always our go-to breakfast spot! The service is spot on, and it's one of the trendiest cafes in the neighborhood.
.
The ambiance is quite nice, especially with the dog-themed décor. Local artists have their dog paintings adorning the walls, which adds a boho touch. The rustic and warm atmosphere makes it perfect for a nice chat, whether you’re catching up with a friend or sharing a special moment with someone.
.
As for the service, friendly and attentive.
.
Now, let's talk food. Try the 1/2 lb Big House Burger with cheddar cheese, with a side of caramelized onions or tossed salad, or the crispy Julienne fries with bacon. The burgers are delicious and cooked just right (or as you would like it to be). For drinks, try the refreshing peach mango fizz that is perfectly balanced — not too sweet at all.
.
Other great dishes are the nachos, wings, and French toast. The buffalo sauce is cooked right into the wings instead of just slathered on top, making them nice and crispy. The French toast have the perfect texture — just the right balance of soft and firm.
.
If I'm back in the area, you can bet I’ll swing by for breakfast, lunch or weekend brunch!
