Val and the whole team are so caring and passionate about making your time in The Living Room special. Val’s martinis were so cold and well balanced…she also loved recommending new gins for me to explore. Cannot wait to return for pre or post-show drinks. What a premier escape perched just above 57th Street.
Park Hyatt is, without question, my favorite five star hotel brand in the world. I have a deep appreciation for modern luxury, and no brand delivers it as consistently and effortlessly as Park Hyatt. Having visited 17 Park Hyatt properties globally, I can say with confidence that Park Hyatt New York stands among the very best. The restaurant offers breakfast classics like Eggs Royale, lunch dishes such as asparagus risotto, and dinner selections including beef short rib and steak frites. The Wagyu cheeseburger is fine and cooked well, but the bolognese leaves more of an impression. Desserts like crème brûlée and molten chocolate cake are flabbergasting. The menu changes frequently. The hot chocolate is truly exceptional but only available during the Christmas season. The ambiance is quiet and lovely, with high ceilings and plenty of space between tables. Some guests find the atmosphere nice but very generic and corporate. Service is top notch and top-notch, with staff like Rudy and Victor being gracious and going the extra mile. However, service can be very slow for some. The food and drinks come out in a timely manner for breakfast. For the price, portions can be on the smaller side. The location is convenient for Carnegie Hall.
