Busy restaurant but still somehow felt intimate. Meals were hearty and moscato hit the spot. Service was really attentive and friendly without being too much. A solid experience for a special occasion.
I really enjoy the Milling Room. The room is lovely and spacious. The tables are “not on top of each other”. There is a wide selection of spirits. And a limited menu with all good options. I think it's a winning formula.
quiet sophisticated atmosphere. but not snooty - people were in smart casual clothes (including nice shorts - it was a 90 degree day), on their way to Shakespeare in the Park. The service was cheerful and attentive without being intrusive. Excellent cocktail. Not a large menu but what is on the menu is well made and in a good size portion. the menu for the day can vary from what's on the website. the burrata salad was excellent - one of the best I've had.
